Ladies Bible/Book Study

Join us for a new ladies Bible/Book study on Wednesday night Aug 21st at 6:45 PM.

We will be using Joyce Meyer's "Battlefield of the Mind" as our study. Be sure to purchase the book and the study guide if you plan to attend. Both can be found on Amazon, Christianbooks.com and at your local Christian bookstore. Please read and complete chapter one for our first meeting.

"Worry, doubt, confusion, depression, anger and feelings of condemnation: all are attacks on the mind. If readers suffer from negative thoughts, they can take heart! Joyce Meyer has helped millions win these all-important battles. In her most popular bestseller ever, the beloved author and minister shows readers how to transform their lives by changing their minds.

Readers will learn to deal with thousands of thoughts they may think every day and how to focus the mind the way God thinks. She shares personal stories, biblical truth, and encouragement to help readers think with purpose, win the battles of their minds, and begin a joy-filled life."

Please contact Carmen Kincade for additional information.

After Church Clean Up

There is a new sign up sheet posted with dates through December. Please find a date that you can help with this important service to the congregation. It's not a hard job and goes pretty quickly. If each person serves one or two weeks we can have it covered.

"My Story" Videos

Some of our most interesting conversations center around personal stories about our faith and our walk with God. Check out the My Stories page of the Common Faith Network Website and tell us YOUR story!

New Tithe and Donation Address

Please note the new mailing address for tithes and donations:
PO Box 1310
West Chester, OH 45071

If you have had yours returned from the old address, please resend to the new one. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

No Food in Classrooms

We have had a problem with food being left on the tables and floors in the nursery and classrooms. Please do not allow your children to take food into those areas. The leftover food is drawing ants.

Volunteers Needed

Many hands make light work!!!
We are very grateful for those who have donated their time and energy to keep the grounds of our church looking beautiful this season. Would you like to be a part of the team next Spring? We could use more people to mow, trim bushes and general maintenance of the yard and landscape.

See Carmen Kincade or Tim Back if interested.

Attention All Parents

Parents, please talk with your children about not playing in the new landscaping. The pond and fountain are almost irresistible for children! But the integrity of the structures can be easily damaged. Thanks for your help!

Also, please work with your children to be sure all toys, pillows, food, drinks etc. are cleaned up and put away properly each week. We are blessed to have our own church building -- please help us shine the light of Christ by caring for the building with which He has blessed us.
