Thanksgiving Potluck

Our annual Thanksgiving potluck will be after services on November 23rd. We need a couple of extra volunteers to help set up and clean up on that day as some of our regular kitchen crew will be out of town. Also, we will need volunteers to make a couple of turkeys. Everyone else please bring salads, side dishes and desserts to share.

Thanksgiving Food Pantry Collection

We have completed our collection for Matthew 25 Ministries to assist with Hurricane Dorian relief. Thanks to all who donated! From now until Thanksgiving we will be collecting non-perishable food items to give to our neighbors at The First Baptist Church. Let's fill their food pantry and assist them in the good work they do for the community!

Gratitude Tree

We are a people "rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." Colossians 2:7 In this season of overflowing gratitude, share what you are thankful for by writing it down on a leaf and placing it on the tree on the bulletin board in the back. It is an encouragement to all to see the many blessings of God. And just another way to praise Him!

Nursing Home Ministry

The next visit to the Alois Alzheimer Center is planned for December 14th from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Volunteers must register. See Becky Burkhart if interested.

Cincinnati WOW Group

The next WOW (widows or widowers) group will meet December 14th after services.

Please see Donna or Paul Kohrs if you have any questions.

After Church Clean Up

There is a new sign up sheet posted with dates through December. Please find a date that you can help with this important service to the congregation. It's not a hard job and goes pretty quickly. If each person serves one or two weeks we can have it covered.

"My Story" Videos

Some of our most interesting conversations center around personal stories about our faith and our walk with God. Check out the My Stories page of the Common Faith Network Website and tell us YOUR story!

No Food in Classrooms

We have had a problem with food being left on the tables and floors in the nursery and classrooms. Please do not allow your children to take food into those areas. The leftover food is drawing ants.

Volunteers Needed

Many hands make light work!!!
We are very grateful for those who have donated their time and energy to keep the grounds of our church looking beautiful this season. Would you like to be a part of the team next Spring? We could use more people to mow, trim bushes and general maintenance of the yard and landscape.

See Carmen Kincade or Tim Back if interested.

Attention All Parents

Parents, please talk with your children about not playing in the new landscaping. The pond and fountain are almost irresistible for children! But the integrity of the structures can be easily damaged. Thanks for your help!

Also, please work with your children to be sure all toys, pillows, food, drinks etc. are cleaned up and put away properly each week. We are blessed to have our own church building -- please help us shine the light of Christ by caring for the building with which He has blessed us.
