MOPS: (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers)

Motherhood is a wonderful blessing! It's also exhausting, unpredictable, and sometimes lonely. Wish you had more time with other moms, more support for the journey, and more people to lift you in prayer during the 2:00 AM feedings? Then MOPS may be just the thing you're looking for!

Our MOPS group is for moms of children birth to 6 years of age who attend any Church of God affiliation.

For more information or to sign up to join our first meeting on Wednesday, January 24th visit our new website or our Facebook page COG MOPS. Bring a friend and join this new community of moms together!

For more information, please contact Carmen Kincade, Keri Aschenbrenner, or Karlee Gaston.

Service Opportunity

Looking for a way to serve? Be a blessing to young moms in our new Church of God MOPS group by volunteering to care for their children while they attend the meeting. We will meet every Wednesday from 9:30 AM -11:30 AM. You can choose to care for babies or help teach MOPS Kids for the 3-5 year olds. This is an excellent opportunity for older teens (17 and up), moms, grandmas, or anyone who loves children. You don't have to commit to every week. Just pick one or two weeks a month.

The mission of motherhood is fulfilling but it can also be spiritually and emotionally exhausting! Be a blessing to moms by giving them time to connect with other moms and be recharged by the truth in God's word.

Please let Carmen Kincade know if you would like to serve in this way.

After Church Clean Up

It's time to select your dates for the Fall and Winter after church clean up schedule. Please check your schedules and let Carmen know which dates you can help or use the sign-up list on the bulletin board at the back of the church.

Attention All Parents

Parents, please talk with your children about not playing in the new landscaping. The pond and fountain are almost irresistible for children! But the integrity of the structures can be easily damaged. Thanks for your help!

Also, please work with your children to be sure all toys, pillows, food, drinks etc. are cleaned up and put away properly each week. We are blessed to have our own church building -- please help us shine the light of Christ by caring for the building with which He has blessed us.
