Church Service Information

Join us for live streaming of Sabbath services each Sabbath at our normal time 2:00 PM ET. There are no in-person services until further notice.

All activities at the church building continue to be suspended (dresses for orphans, WOW, spokesman's club, bible study, etc.)

If you are on Facebook, check out the church page for encouraging, biblical blogs, songs. videos, scriptures, memes and more. Just one way to help us stay connected!

Let's be in prayer for one another at this challenging time. Give someone a call and say hi!

Life Forward Pregnancy Care Center Banquet~ A Virtual Event

Life Forward's 2020 Annual Banquet is officially scheduled for Thursday, May 7th via livestream from your own home on any device. Please RSVP here.

The program will be 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM and include:
· Life Forward urgent ministry update
· Malena and Chase's story
· Keynote address from Christian filmmaker Stephen Kendrick
· Invitation to partner with Life Forward
· LIVE Q & A with Stephen Kendrick on life, faith, and filmmaking
· Door prize packages for 3 households

Your participation in this event always has been invaluable, but especially now in light of the circumstances and urgency for our clients facing job loss and needing baby care items like diapers and formula more than ever. Also, we're planning for a SURGE in unplanned pregnancies in just a few weeks as is typical for a scenario like the one we're in.

Obviously, this was not our original plan for this year's Banquet. However, we firmly believe that in these unique times, God has opened up new doors for ministry and it's now more important than ever that we move forward in faith to serve women and families in need. We're committed to doing everything we can in this season to minister the hope, healing, and wholeness of the Gospel.

Thank you again for your wholehearted support for women and families in our community. We look forward to seeing you online May 7th!

2020 Scripture Memorization Challenge

The scripture for March, 2 Peter 3:8-11, as a timely admonition to draw close to our Lord and the hope we have.

As we approach the Spring Holy Day Season we will focus our memory verse efforts on scriptures that pertain to the Season.

1 Corinthians 5:6-8 and Galatians 2:20 - Both are fairly well-known scriptures to us but this is a wonderful opportunity to rehearse them daily as we prepare for the Feast celebrations.

Most of us have more time now to devote to prayer and the reading/study of God's word. Let's use this time wisely to draw closer to Him! May you be blessed by engaging in the spiritual discipline of scripture memorization!

A few tips for committing His word to heart
1. Remember Isaiah 55:11 His word will not return empty and it will accomplish what He desires. In other words, your hard work in memorizing scripture is not in vain. Even if you can’t memorize every word….it’s getting in there!
2. Write it down. Not once, not twice but many, many times over the course of the month. Simply writing things out is an extremely useful tactile memory aid.
3. Just as writing a verse out can help in memorizing it, so speaking the words aloud is an excellent way to burn them into your memory. One person suggested turning the radio off during your commute to work or school each day and reciting your memory verse out loud instead!

After Church Clean Up

There is a sign up sheet posted with available dates. Please find a date that you can help with this important service to the congregation. It's not a hard job and goes pretty quickly. If each person serves one or two weeks we can have it covered.

"My Story" Videos

Some of our most interesting conversations center around personal stories about our faith and our walk with God. Check out the My Stories page of the Common Faith Network Website and tell us YOUR story!

No Food in Classrooms

We have had a problem with food being left on the tables and floors in the nursery and classrooms. Please do not allow your children to take food into those areas. The leftover food is drawing ants.

Volunteers Needed

Many hands make light work!!!
We are very grateful for those who have donated their time and energy to keep the grounds of our church looking beautiful this season. Would you like to be a part of the team next Spring? We could use more people to mow, trim bushes and general maintenance of the yard and landscape.

See Carmen Kincade or Tim Back if interested.

Attention All Parents

Parents, please talk with your children about not playing in the new landscaping. The pond and fountain are almost irresistible for children! But the integrity of the structures can be easily damaged. Thanks for your help!

Also, please work with your children to be sure all toys, pillows, food, drinks etc. are cleaned up and put away properly each week. We are blessed to have our own church building -- please help us shine the light of Christ by caring for the building with which He has blessed us.
